The main aim of the ICOPER project has been to provide mechanisms to ensure European-wide user involvement, cooperation, and adoption of standards within a large community to support all phases of standardization.
In ICOPER we use the term "Living Lab" to mean a place where communities of users are engaged in on-going R&D, where collaboration and interaction among all the stakeholders takes place to cultivate and enrich new ideas. An ICOPER Directory listing experts, their qualifications, and contact information has been established. The Living Lab has offered means to support collaboration and experimentation with e-learning standards and related technologies, as described in this deliverable.
This deliverable is meant to be the second and final report about the ICOPER Living Lab-related activities. With respect to the status as reported in the previous deliverable 9.2a the information and services have greatly improved. Standards study within ICOPER has progressed and resulting analysis and recommendations have been provided. eContent repositories accessible from the OICS have increased as well as standards-based applications, available to users to test and experiment. The number of links to experts has enhanced. More events have taken place and more ISUREs have become available.
This document reports how activities foreseen in the Description of Work have been carried during the second project period. In the following sections the community engagement in R&D and on-going work is illustrated: guidance through e-learning standards information (Section 2.1), possibilities to experiment via applications (Section 2.2. and 2.3), links to experts and consultants (Section 2.4), communities of practice (Section 2.5), information about ICOPER events and related news (Section 2.6), ISUREs and publishable results (Section 2.7).
